Quarterly meeting was held on
held on August 22, 2007 at Sabre Holdings in
Southlake

Texas
.
Lunch and networking started at
11:00 a.m.
Sandy Champion, President
of the NTIAPP Chapter, called the meeting to order at 11:00 a.m.
Sandy
thanked Carrie Chambers with Sabre Holdings for hosting and providing lunch for
our quarterly meeting. Introductions
were made and non-members were invited to fill out membership applications.
Sandy
gave the floor to Carrie Chambers, with Sabre Holdings, to present an excellent
presentation on Mergers and Acquisition Integration, Tales of a Survivor.

Education Committee Update
Sandy
stated that due to a family emergency that Melvina Floyd was not at the
meeting.
Sandy
stated that to-date there are 550
CAPPs and 130 CAPAs. The Fall window
for testing was October 15th through November 10th.
Membership Committee Update
Amanda Dove
, Membership Committee Co-Chairperson, stated that there are currently 243 IAPP
members from the North Texas Local Chapter.
New members are Martha Gillum from 7-Eleven Inc,
Cheryl Swinford from 7-Eleven Inc, Lachunda Wells from Chase Paymentech
Solutions, Katie Armstrong, Chemical Lime Company,
Patricia Booker Holt with Dallas Market Center, Art Babb with Hanson North
America, Tina Lawless with Raytheon, Monica Garcia with Texas Aero Engine
Services Limited, Veila Herrera with TVO North America, Sylvia Molina with TVO
North America, Laura Rey with TVO North America, Linda Sanders with TVO North
America, and Pamela Riley with X-FAB Texas Inc.
She reported that a recruiting letter is being worked on to be approved
by national to send to local businesses.
Website Update
Barbara Coakley, webmaster, could
not make the meeting.
Sandy
stated that emails were not being received and if you feel that you are not
getting emails to please contact the national office.
TIN Matching Indicators Change
Amanda Dove
, with the Freeman Companies, reported that there are three new matching
indicators for the TIN Matching, which are EIN, SS, and an “unknown” to be
able to tell you what type of business.
2008 Workshops at Forum
Sandy
stated the form to conduct a workshop at the 2008 IAPP forum was due at the end
of the month. She added that there
would be a $300 discount off the forum fee if you facilitate a workshop.
2007
North Texas
Chapter Meetings
November 15, 2007 meeting will be
hosted and held at Infomart in
Dallas
by Business Imaging Systems; topic of discussion will be Paper to Electronic
given by Sally Beauty Supply LLC.
